Baked Maple French Toast

Super Easy and Super Tasty recipe! Make all preparation in the evening to have more free time in the morning! Original Maple French Toasts from the oven will surprise you with the wonderful combination of cream-cheese and maple syrup.

Ingredients

  • cubed bread: 12 slices
  • cubed cream cheese: 8 ounces (1 package)
  • 8 eggs
  • whole milk: 1 cup
  • Viking Farms Maple Syrup: 1/2 cup

Instructions

To start with, take a greased 2-qt. baking dish and fill it with half of bread cubes. Then take the bread, which left, rip it into medium-size pieces and mix them with cubed cream cheese. Arrange this mixture over cubed bread in the baking dish.

Blend or whisk eggs, milk and syrup in a saucepan or a bowl. Pour this liquid over the bread-cheese mass, cover the dish and put it in the fridge overnight.

In the morning, before you want to bake it and serve for breakfast, take out of the fridge 30 minutes before cooking.

Cover our unusual French Toasts with foil and bake them at 350° for half an hour. After, remove the foil and bake 20 minutes longer until you see a beautiful golden color.

When serve warm French Toasts, do not forget to put an additional syrup on the table!
