Chicken Breasts In Glaze Recipe
Chicken breast

To cook four servings of Chicken Breasts In Maple Glaze you need about 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • boneless, skinless chicken breasts – 16 ounces (it is about two large chicken breasts)
  • salt – 1/2 teaspoon
  • pepper – 1/4 teaspoon
  • olive oil – 2 tablespoons (divided)
  • cornstarch – 1 teaspoon
  • maple syrup – 3 tablespoons
  • fresh lemon juice (or apple cider vinegar) – 2 tablespoons
  • garlic – 2 cloves (minced)
  • ground ginger – 1/2 teaspoon
  • water – 2 tablespoons

Instructions

Prepare chicken breasts, clean them, dry with a paper towel, and slice in half lengthwise to about 1-inch thickness. Season well both sides with salt and pepper.

Take a saute pan, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil over and heat over medium. When hot enough, add breasts and cook about 5 minutes per side until meat is fully ready. Remove chicken from pan.

Add all other ingredients from the list: remaining olive oil, maple syrup, lemon juice, cornstarch, garlic, ground ginger, and water. Whisk well until cornstarch has dissolved and ingredients are incorporated. Cook for a few minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.

Return chicken to the pan and toss to coat in sauce. Remove from heat and serve immediately.

The Maple-Garlic sauce is great to drizzle over vegetables or to use as a salad dressing. So if you want more of it – just double the sauce ingredients.

Chicken Breasts in Maple Glaze are ready! To add more freshness to the meal, prepare a fresh salad, or just put on the plate lettuce, greens, other vegetables you prefer. This beneficial combination will bring you both gourmet satisfaction and positive health impact.
