Total time to prepare sweet potato soup with maple syrup — 1 hour.
- sweet potato 700g
- bulb onions 1,5 heads
- leek 1 stalk
- celery 2 stalks
- garlic 1 clove
- butter 4 tablespoons
- cream 1,5 cups
- chicken bouillon 4 cups
- maple syrup 2 tablespoons
- cinnamon stick 1 piece
- ground nutmeg ¼ tablespoon
- salt and black to taste
Melt the butter in a big pan, add chopped onions. In 5 minutes add finely chopped celery stalks, leek and fry until onions become transparent.
Put ground garlic and chopped potato in 5 minutes. For saturation of sweet potato soup add cinnamon stick, dust with ground nutmeg.
Boil pan contents, then reduce the fire and cook 20 minutes.
Take out the cinnamon stick. Turn the mixture into a mashed-up state using blender. Add cream, maple syrup, salt and pepper, decorate the dish and serve.
