How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free for all orders over $50, and a flat rate of $6.95 for orders under $60.

Does maple sugaring harm the maple tree?

Short answer - no, it does not harm the tree.

Tapping a tree does create a wound where the hole is, but a tree will heal or grow over a tap in hole completely in 1-3 years.

As long as the farmer follows best practices for hole depth and width and taps the oppropriate number of holes in a tree its circumfrance, then sugar maples can be tapped for decades and live a full life without harm.
