Ingredients
- boneless, skinless chicken breasts – 16 ounces (it is about two large chicken breasts)
- salt – 1/2 teaspoon
- pepper – 1/4 teaspoon
- olive oil – 2 tablespoons (divided)
- cornstarch – 1 teaspoon
- maple syrup – 3 tablespoons
- fresh lemon juice (or apple cider vinegar) – 2 tablespoons
- garlic – 2 cloves (minced)
- ground ginger – 1/2 teaspoon
- water – 2 tablespoons
Instructions
Prepare chicken breasts, clean them, dry with a paper towel, and slice in half lengthwise to about 1-inch thickness. Season well both sides with salt and pepper.
Take a saute pan, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil over and heat over medium. When hot enough, add breasts and cook about 5 minutes per side until meat is fully ready. Remove chicken from pan.
