Granola is a traditional US snack, as well as a breakfast dish containing rolled oatmeal, nuts, honey, various syrups and sometimes rice which are usually baked to a crisp state. The beauty of granola is that you can change its taste every time by adding different dried fruits, seeds, nuts. The other good thing is that you can cook it in advance and a lot.

Maple-Baked Granola

Total time to cook maple-baked granola – 35 minutes.

Ingredients

  • dried cranberries 40g
  • raisins 30g
  • dried cherries 40g
  • goji berries 20g
  • cashew nuts 70g
  • vegetable oil 50g
  • maple syrup 50g
  • honey 40g
  • oat flakes 200g

Instruction

We are going to cook the granola. Finely chop the cherry, raisins and cranberries. Add the goji berries, grind cashews in a blender, combine with berries.

Mix vegetable oil, maple syrup and honey in a saucepan. And warm until the honey dissolves. Mix oatmeal with berries and nuts, fill it with a honey mixture and mix.

Lay the parchment on a baking sheet, spread the granola and bake it for 15-20 minutes at a temperature of 175 degrees, stirring occasionally. Granola is ready. Enjoy your meal!
