Try Our Magic Five-Minute Cocktails With Maple Syrup

Cocktails are the celebration in your glass!

We love to treat ourselves with mixing favorite drinks and discovering new flavorful combinations. By adding a little maple syrup to cocktails we can create a different flavor profile and sparkle the moment with magic and heady result.

After we have shared our favorite non-alcoholic drinks the time has come to list our alcohol cocktails selection. And, of course, our winners got their distinctive flavor characteristics only after adding pure maple syrup into them.

Basically, we would replace all artificial syrups with rich and organic maple one to sweeten cocktails and get more benefits afterward. But here let’s start with three maple syrup-laced cocktails to try in the first place.

1. Maple Spirit (to cook it you’ll need a blender).

This five minutes boozy beverage with a sunny apple flavor is a classic combination of cider, maple syrup, and bourbon. To cook 4 servings of our number 1 choice, take and slice thinly 3 medium apples of your favorite kind. Transfer apple slices to the blender and add to them unfiltered apple cider (1/2 cup), freshly squeezed lemon juice (3 tablespoons), water (1 cup), and pure maple syrup (1 1/2 tablespoons). Process until smooth about 1-2 minutes. Discard solids by pouring the ready-made mixture through a fine sieve into an ice-filled pitcher. Stir in 5 ounces bourbon you prefer and serve it with 4 empty glasses!

Better to slice more than three apples because you’ll need more than one pitcher!

2. Maple Splash

Cocktail with ice and lemon slice.

Fresh summer cocktail with mint and lemons is perfect for pool or garden parties! Easy and quick, it will not take much of your time and you can share more precious moments with your closest ones.

For Maple Splash cocktail you’ll need rye whiskey (2 ounces), 1/2 lemon (washed and cut into quarters), dark maple syrup (1 ounces/2 tablespoons), and 5 mint leaves.

First, muddle lemon quarters with mint leaves and maple syrup in a shaker. Add whiskey and ice and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Pour into a beautiful glass, garnish with mint or lemon.

3. Hot Ginger Toddy

Cup with dark drink and two cinnamon sticks beside the cup.
Hot cocktail

Ginger Toddy with maple syrup is a true classic of hot drinks! If you love ginger as much as we do you’ll definitely enjoy this warming beverage.

To cook the hot cocktail gather the following ingredients: water (1 cup),  1 black tea bag, fresh lemon juice (1 tablespoon), grated ginger (1 teaspoon), maple syrup (2 teaspoons), rum* (3 tablespoons), and 1 stick of cinnamon.

When everything is at hand bring water to a boil in a small saucepan. Then dive in tea bag and ginger, cover and leave it for 3 minutes. The next step is to remove the tea bag and strain the drink into the mug without ginger. When our hot ginger tea is in the big mug stir in syrup, lemon fresh and rum. Add the cinnamon stick.

Sip and Enjoy!
